Welcome back to my Druid Leveling Guide site. Today I wanted to tell you about the best druid leveling guide for World of Warcraft. It is the guide that I have been using for more than two years and it has helped me reach level 80 on more than a half a dozen alts. My all time speed leveling record is 2 days 4 hours play time which I am going to post a video of on the site. I did that using the druid leveling guide I am getting ready to tell you about.

What Are The 3 Most Important Factors to Leveling Fast

Really when you are leveling a new character regardless of its class or race you need to focus on 3 things. They are as follows:

1. Your Spec
2. Your Gear
3. Your Questing Routes: Bar NONE this is the most important factor in how fast you level.

How is a Druid Leveling Guide > Quest-helper

Last year an awesome add-on called Quest-helper was released and it drastically sped up leveling but there is a problem with quest-helper. It ONLY tells you where to complete a quest but nothing else. It has no information on WHERE to pick quests up at, WHAT order to complete them in, or WHERE to turn them at. Because of this you are going to miss valuable quests and end up going back to the same areas over and over to do quests that could have been done all at once.

Ok, so I was going to tell you all about the differences between a premium druid leveling guide and quest-helper but I figured showing you would be a better idea.

I hate to say Quest-helper sucks compared to Dugi’s guide but the facts speak for themselves. Seriously think about all the times you’ve been lost as to what quests you should do next or in what order. Quest-helper is great if you have a list of the quests you want to do and what order you want to do them in AND you know exactly where to pick them up at and where to turn them in at.

How Fast Can You Ding 80 With Dugi’s Guide?

That is a great question. Because Dugi’s guide is 100% IN GAME on average you can level to 80 in about 6 – 7 days play time. Now, that is not set in stone and let me tell you why. Those numbers are assuming you are brand new to Wow and have nave no idea what you are doing. They also assume you are in regular quest gear without any BoA’s.

In December of last year (2009) I started a project to see how fast I could level using EVERY resource at my disposal. I already had plenty of mains so I had a full set of plate BoA gear (3 pieces). I started a paladin and did the following:

1. Specced him according to Dugi’s guide
2. Used BoA shoulders, chest, and sword
3. Started a TRIAL refer a friend account and put it on follow for triple xp. (Sadly the trial account does not keep up with you on xp because he isn’t doing all the “loot this” quests so I only got triple xp to lvl 37)
4. ONLY quested using Dugi’s guide. I did not get distracted by the auction house, major cities, grinding, etc.
5. Logged out in an inn EVERY time.

It took me about a three weeks of REAL LIFE to hit level 80 because I only played the toon a few hours a day after my refer a friend trial acct stopped working but my in game play time to level 80 was…

2 DAYS 4 HOURS 10 MINUTES 38 SECONDS.

Ok, so that is about all I can think of to tell you lol. Listen, Dugi’s Ultimate Wow Guide isn’t just a druid leveling guide either. The thing works for ANY class and ANY faction. It is bar none the top leveling guide for World of Warcraft. There are others who try to imitate Dugi (and charge more) but in my two years of using his guide I’ve NEVER thought about buying a different one.

Druids are not the easiest class in Wow to level.  Matter of fact, they can be one of the slowest if you don’t know what you’re doing.  So many people see the different forms and think it would be cool to play a druid but after grinding out the first 15 or 20 levels they give up and move on.  That’s why I wanted to include a very specific section on druid specs in this free druid leveling guide.  It won’t be anything overly fancy but it will tell you exactly what talents to get and when to get them!

So, without getting too fancy that is the spec you want to use.  Now, you can obviously move some points around where you feel the need but try to stay as close to this baseline as possible.  Having a bad spec will slow you down tremendously.  Besides just having a good spec your gear is going to play a role in your leveling speed as well so in the  next section of this free druid leveling guide I’ll cover some of the things you can do to get around having to spend a ton of gold to gear up.

First things first, welcome to my Free Druid Leveling Guide!

What you’ll find here is all the information you’ll need to level your druid all the way to 80 no matter what level you are now.  And this isn’t some cheesy power leveling guide that requires you to have two accounts or beg your friends to run you through instances.  This is a totally independent druid leveling guide that will allow you to solo your way to 80.

Parts of this guide have been hand written to me after playing a druid for three years and other parts are borrowed from Dugi’s Ultimate Wow Guide, with his permission of course.  I’ve been a member of Dugi’s guides for a long time and I just simply sent him an email figuring I could at least ask.  Imagine my surprise when he said he didn’t mind me giving away parts of his druid leveling guide just as long as I didn’t give away ALL of it lol.
